Horse Streching by Katarina Skarestad

Katarina Skarestad is diplomed equitherapeut - a kind of physiotherapy for horses. For several years she has been working with the Swedish National teams for showjumping and dressage.
 
In this demonstration she will show how to strech the horse after a working pass. At the moment we only have the video in Swedish but a english version will be published soon.

Riding during pregnancy?

Interesting to talk about it since it´s so different from woman to woman and also from culture to culture. I am in the 7th month and cannot ride much anymore but a little one day or another I make an effort to do. The feeling afterwards is so good and it makes a huge difference in my mind! It gives me a lot of energy that before sitting up on the horse I´m pretty sure I don´t have any more!

Doping, sabotage or misunderstanding!

How is it that four horses in the Olympics failed the same doping test with the same substance?

Is it very commonly spread to use EquiBlock and no one ever knew that it was not allowed to use it?

Is it someone that planned this and put this substance on the horse? As I understand the stables in the Olympics are very well monitored and it is a risky manoeuvre to try to do anything like this.
